The Rippl family managed to retain the spirit of this townhouse, rearranged shortly before 1669 by the Italian architect Santini de Rossi, while meeting contemporary material needs and comfort standards.

On the small Vlašská square, opposite the Lobkowitz palace, today's German embassy, this small Boutique hotel is located in one of the city's most romantic areas, a little countryside within the historic center: an ideal location for who wants a taste of Old Prague's unique atmosphere.

Charles Bridge

Charles BridgeThe Charles Bridge (Czech: Karlův most  listen (help·info)) is a famous historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. The bridge replaced the old Judith Bridge built 1158–1172 that had been badly damaged by a flood in 1342. This new bridge was originally called the Stone Bridge (Kamenný most) or the Prague Bridge (Pražský most) but has been the "Charles Bridge" since 1870. As the only means of crossing the river Vltava (Moldau) until 1841, the Charles Bridge was the most important connection between Prague Castle and the city's Old Town and adjacent areas. This "solid-land" connection made Prague important as a trade route between Eastern and Western Europe.Accommodation near Charles Bridge
