Old Town (Praha Staromestske namesti) is the original place of settlement of Prague. It was separated from the outside by a semi-circular moat and wall, connected to the Vltava at both of its ends. The moat is now covered up by the streets (from north to south-west) Revolučni, na Příkopě (1 min walk from RIO), and Národni ( 5 min walk) -which remain the official boundary of the cadastral district of Prague Old Town. After the city was expanded in the 14th century by Charles IV with the founding of the New Town, the moat and wall were therefore dismantled soon after.Notable places in the Old Town, exept the Old Town Square, also include the Old New Synagogue , across the river Vltava is the Lesser Quarter, called Malá Strana in Czech. These two parts of the town are connected by Prague Charles Bridge , which is about 7 min walk from RIO Apartments.

The Old Town Pargue Apartments RIO are close to Metro stop Mustek (Line A / B) and also to tram station. Around the Prague Apartments RIO you can find lots of Resaturants, Caffes and shops. More central location doesn't exist. If you like to be always in the centre of  old town| s life, enjoy city walks, prefer not to use transport - go to RIO Apartments. RIO Prague Old Town Apartments - descripton:

On the first floor of the building there is a cabaret bar and a sport bar with a big screen where the guests can watch SKY TV and other English and Czech channels. The bar is air-conditioned. On the second and third floors there are the apartments.

There are rooms with single, double and three beds with a shower or a bathroom.  All rooms are furnished newly furnished. Each room is equipped with satellite TV- sets, air- conditioning and free WI-FI- internet access. There is also a lift in the building.

Parking is available in the underground garages nearby or near TESCO supermarket (for a fee - 5 min walk away).

RIO guests have free entrance to the sport bar and cabaret bar.
